Your direction.
AI is optional.
Work entirely by hand, use your own OpenAI account or connect a local Ollama model. You explicitly start each analysis and review every suggestion yourself.
- With OpenAI, the selected chapter text and direction context are sent to OpenAI. API usage is billed to your own account.
- Your library is stored locally. The Windows app protects your saved API key using Windows DPAPI.
- AI can misassign passages or misinterpret the text. Professional review and approval remain your responsibility.

Requirements & installation
- Windows PC with an x64 processor. Narrava Studio and a separate Node.js installation are not required.
- The teleprompter requires at least 600 pixels of viewport width. This download is a Windows installer; no iPad, Android, macOS or Linux installer is offered here.
- For OpenAI: your own API access and an internet connection. For local AI: a separately configured Ollama installation with a suitable model. Manual direction needs no AI access.
- Before updating, back up your library using “Back up” and close the app. Run the installer over your existing Regie installation.

Do I need Narrava Studio or Narrava Audio?
No. Regie Assistent is a separate application with its own installer, local library and activation. Narrava Studio and Narrava Audio remain separate marketing products.
Does Regie Assistent record audio?
The workspace prepares manuscripts and reading scripts and supports reading in the teleprompter. “Recording complete” tracks chapter status. It is not an audio recording or editing feature.
Is AI required?
No. You can edit characters and direction manually. Optional OpenAI analyses use your own API key; alternatively, you can configure local Ollama.
Are these actual screenshots?
Yes. They show the running 0.4.1 application with purpose-written demo text and manually created direction. No customer content or AI provider calls were used.
